With sophistication and flair, Ruth Davis offers more than 25 years in communications and event marketing. From creating the public relations strategy for one of the most recognized international exhibit design firms based in New York City, to managing successfully the media introduction a major performing arts space in Providence, to creating ongoing public relations for some of the most influential arts and cultural organizations in Rhode Island, Ruth generates buzz for her clients.
Some of Ruth's high-profile events include a product launch New York City at a prestigious jazz club, the reintroduction of an interational arts and cultural festival, a New York City-wide arts festival for children, a major music festival in downtown Providence, and the openings of Rhode Island’s T.F. Green Airport and the Providence Place Mall.
As a volunteer, Ruth has served on the boards of such organizations as Irondale Ensemble Project in New York City, the Alliance of Artists Communities, and is a current member of Revolve Dance Project's board. Recently, she joined the international social enterprise organization, Global Fellows in Courage, and is serving as a coach for a young entrepreneur in Africa.
Ruth has a BFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design and a master's degree in the interrelated arts from New York University. She is an avid classical pianist having studied since childhood.
